Isildur1 is a online poker phenomenon. In 2010 and most of 2009, he played online poker and nobody knew who he was. When a poker player wins a lot of money in online poker, he often gets contacted by a lot of sponsors who wants to get him to play in major tournaments and all kinds of stuff, but untill late 2010 Isildur1 rejected all proposals and continued to be the unknown, mystery player.
Then he got a request from Daniel Negreanu's PokerStars Pro Team, which he accepted, and in the last week of 2010 PokerStars could welcome Isildur1 in their set of professional poker players they support. Following to this announcement, Isildur1 had to reveal his identity and it turned out to be the upcoming star, swedish Victor Blom.
Until this moment, people only had wild guesses about who Isildur1 could be, some as wild as it was Michael Jackson behind the online poker phenomenon and that he was playing from a secret island somewhere in the Mexican Gulf. Also it was rumoured to be Phil Ivey who hid himself behind an unusual PokerID.
It is only interessting to follow Victor Blom aka. Isildur1 in the future. Personally I think he will win many major tournaments.
